What you could do is repost Bob at a later time to give everyone a fair shot like ChaosKitten did with a few really popular characters (like Fauna). Like state a time you will repost him so everyone can be ready.

Well some people just can't be on the forum all the time like others, due to time difference (sleeping) or they have work, school etc.
I'm doing first come first serve for my villagers but I don't know if it's necessarily the fairest way.

Yer ultimately there is no 'fair' way of doing it because people can love the same villager as much as each other, doing it first come first serve is completely down to luck but it doesn't cause any hassle. I think if people start different methods of giving villagers away it's going to cause arguments.. it's already got people debating it.
I suppose that's why I think it's the best way and also because it's just simple

So the fairest way I think I could do this is by a raffle. I understand that "first come first serve" mentality. However, for me.. I feel this is way best for everyone. Everyone has an equal oppurrrtunity. I'm trying to get Bob out atm, if you want to be included in the raffle. Message me. If I can get Bob out tonight, I will raffle it at midnight.
