Hey guys I don't know if anyone's confirmed this but I would like to try. It's a theory I see thrown around.
Lets say Peggy is moving and I don't want her to go. Can I get a TT friend who would take her in and see if I can get the EXACT SAME Peggy back? This would Bypass the whole 16 villager thing.

In reality I don't want Peggy back so just don't save the game when I ask her to move in. Then you can trash her the next day.

Others can try this to but I'm willing to sacrifice Peggy for the greater good

That one is confirmed, you can get THE SAME villager back before the 16 villager thing, the 16 villagers is to get a NEW same villager

Oh ok sweet. I don't like where one of my villagers house resides so in theory I could get her to move and then move back in to a new spot (with the reset glitch this time )
PS: Who confirmed it? And it can be done over wi-fi right?

I don't think there's a method for specifics, you just need to get lucky.

Just travel forward by two days, see if they want to move. If not, travel back by two days and see if they want to move. If not just repeat until they want to move ^^
