Out of curiosity, how many people here are gifting villagers from their 2nd town? It seems like at least 8+ people have second towns.

Yeah a lot of people do it, that's how I got the idea. I know Chu does it specifically and we're friends, so I was inspired by her.

do you have to have a second game to make a second town?

Yes! New save files on a game with a town already will just make new residents in that same town.

I will be once I can safely move Julian to my main town. Right now I'm clearing out the villagers in my main town to make room for blue and/or white villagers. ^^

Yeah--my 1st town is pretty much in lockdown ATM (trying to get some public works put down before I move people in because getting a dream villager and having their house parked in a horrible place would devastate me) so I've been getting people in my alt town and trading ones from there. Figured it was the best way to do it until my own town is safe and then I can officially work on getting the Dream Villagers in my town T~T Just about 4 more days to go
