Ugh I desperately want Klaus but I'd have to spend time TTing to get an open space in my town. This stinks.

That... is such a useful tip, why didn't I think of that xD
if you talk to a villager over and over and over without breaks. They will eventually need alone time and will start walking around with a thought bubble with dots in it.

Guys, could you help me with something? Someone took Sidney, so I have 8 villagers right now. That means that a random one could move any day, right? If I make the new character thing and search around and don't find any new houses, does that mean that no one is moving that day and I can use my Mayor without any risk?
Do you know if this trick works if the villager is in their house?
i tried it with egbert in his house, he thought about it but he didnt want to move..
I havent tried that yet unfortunatley. but you can time travel by 4 hours and they might be outside. Thats what i do when trying to get them to move anyway.

Also i think the method most likely will only increase the chances of them moving. it wont be a coincidence because 8 people so far have had it work.

No. If you don't see a house on your new character, become a citizen and save or else there is a chance a plot could pop up when you log into your mayor. It's how I got stuck with Flo. :\ But apparently on the 7th day there will be a 100% chance for a plot so don't wait too long to choose your new villager.

Hi guys, was wondering whether you'd be able to help me. Basically about three weeks ago I'd filled up my entire village with nine neighbours moving in by themselves and the final tenth villager from the campsite. However after TT and passing some villagers onto friends I now have seven villagers.
Will the eight and ninth new villagers move in all by themselves by random selection or do I have to fill the eighth and ninth slots manually by asking other people's villagers to move in on moving day and/or inviting tourists from the campsite?
