The unthinkable happened

</3
I lost my baby Chrissy as well ;-;
Due to not playing - .-
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF--

You should always talk to your villagers and walk right in front of them for a ping. Or any other villager saying that ____ is thinking of leaving :/

Tips to make sure no one is leaving:
If it has been more than 3 days that no one has pinged/since your last ping, you save and quit. Then go on your mayor again
Talk to your villagers. If no one mentions about a moving villager(They will only talk about it when the villager is in town)repeat steps.
This is what I do to make sure none of my fav villagers will move when TTing. It's tedious, but works most of the time. Now that you changed your name,
I am going to be confused.

For any villager you want to stay, you ought to talk to them everyday.

Doesn't always work. A villager I did chores for on consecutive days suddenly was in boxes a day after, and no one else said anything.

However before that occasion, villagers are usually pretty good with informing me.

TT a week ahead and make a new character to see if anyone has left...much less tedious and takes like 2 minutes

Huh. Thats actually a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion. But what if a villager will not decide to move until two days later? Would it work? Because if you just go back to current time, it will be another random villager that will want to move?

I just lost my baby Beau ;_; I've been cycling for 2 days and I've gotten through 6 villagers, so only 10 to go.. But it's hard and it drives me insane. A messy town, villagers who says you haven't talked to them in weeks. Ankha and Fauna constantly pinging.

Good luck! I really hope you will get Twiggy back!

That's why you have to do the method consistently, imo every 3 days. Since every villager's "wanting to move period" is 6 days, you have a 5 day window to stop them from moving.

No it doesn't work like that. TT'ing a week is just a peek into the future for that day so if no one is gone when you TT then that means no one is thinking of moving for that day so you're in the clear.

Also you're welcome :)

ehhh, ehh wait a sec!! D:
does that mean that like, if you go 6 days without checking someone, on the 6th day they'll be in boxes? :<

It's not every 6 days someone will be in boxes, I'm just saying that's how long the "villager moving period" lasts for. So if you want to make absolute certain that none of your dreamies are moving then you need to check with that method at least every 5 days but I would recommend 3 or 4 to be safe.

You had 5 days to stop her from moving.

Villagers usually INSTANTLY start rumors of another villager is thinking of leaving. You had FIVE DAYS to stop her from moving, especially if you didn't time travel... Were you not paying attention to what any of your villagers said?

Either way, I'm sorry you lost her... Depending on how many villagers you're willing to cycle out, it may take up to a few days to a few months.

Gosh. Way to go Captain buzzkill.

Anyway, sorry you lost Twiggy :c Best of luck in your cycle <3 It took me a month to cycle for Diana, but I lost 5 dreamies in the process: make sure Cube and Chrissy are safe o:
