I've seen no sign of a previous Aika Village thread so I thought I would make one! If anyone before me has made an Aika Village thread, please forgive me. I made this thread so people can talk about the ever spooky Aika Village! Here is where you can share you past experiences, theories, thoughts, post pictures and anything else about, well, Aika Village! I sure hope this thread takes off... If you have not visited Aika Village, here is the Dream Address: 2600-0218-7298 I take NO credit for anything that has credit to be taken from, (if that makes sense...)

When you wake up- Carnations, fountains, perfect peaches! ...Wait, what's with the ground? I believe Aika was a girl visually impaired. A few Jacob's Ladders at the back. Aika loved flowers, like your pretty princess type. In the house!
In the first house- Aika's celebrating her birthday! Hooray! A gift sits near the table. It was another dolly to add to her collection of toys. Upstairs, in Aika's room, you see pictures of her dog, mother, and family.
In the second house- You have to swivel through the chairs to get through, because it's blocked by black objects. Those exit signs means Aika escaping her trauma. In the right room, there is a group of these owl clocks staring across an angel and a demon. I have no idea what that means. Left, there is a bunch of wheels which mean the wheel of fate, made by the shark, which is the dolly. In the back room, there is some eyes on the wall and toys staring away. Meaning that she thought her toys were moving away. Upstairs, there is Adam, Eve, the forbidden fruit, and the snake. I'm guessing she was a catholic girl. Since Eve ate the fruit, every other woman would be punished. Downstairs is the last supper. It seems innocent before you realise that one dolly has an axe.
In the third house- Bookcases. Bookcases. In the right room, there is some eggs and a piano, showing that Aika's parents wanted to make her perfect. Upstairs, there is a room decorated with Aika's drawings as a child. Right now, she is in her late teen years. Downstairs, you see an outline on the bed. This means that the dolly killed her mother. Aika fell pregnant soon, and the father divorced years ago. Having only herself to take care of, she plunges into depression.
In the fourth house- Aika is now a young adult. Everything is now in disarray. The dolly, upstairs, tarnished the room. Now, you see Aika stuck inside a cell with her dolly. The dolly ended her hectic calamity; She now has Aika all to herself.

I think Aika Village actually originated here. Well, by originated I mean became known due to it being mentioned here.

i once chopped down all the trees, dug out all stumps and items from the ground and placed them on the beach, covered holes, and ran over all the flowers until the land was barren, void of litter, and music for 5am was playing.

i am still not quite sure why i did that tbh

I like it. I remember visiting it for the first time very late at night and was very spooked, lol. In a good way. The meaning behind it is awesome and the puzzle to find the swimsuit to that grave is cool. There were some parts that were confusing, but nevertheless, it is a great town. The worn-out trees makes it look even better. I know there's people who say it's "Disappointing" but come on... You gotta admit that it is wonderfully created and the overall look of it is phenomenal.

I envy Aika Village. I'm deeply impressed with the fact the creator managed to tell a story like so effectively and with so much hidden detail. It makes me want to buy a second cartridge and do one myself, except I cannot think of a good story to tell. I think it deserves its hype.

It isn't just the houses.
There's also some shoes and a grave on the beach.
For those who don't know, shoes on the beach is indicative of suicide by drowning in Japanese culture.

I didn't like it at all. I don't even think it's possible to make a game as cute as Animal Crossing seem scary xD. I'm sure they put a lot of time into their town and what not, but the story/scariness didn't really resonate with me at all. I did develop a love for Hypno K.K. as a result though.
