-I've been thinking about how to shorten "dandelion"... I was thinking Dandelyn... or Dandlion... I usually like nature ones like Birdnest, Swanlake, Mushroom.
-I also like "Lemonade". Most food ones are cute, and not just sweet foods.
-Names from other video games are fun. I like the Earthbound town names, like Twoson and Fourside.
-Even just random objects like a pencil can turn into a fun town name.
-I picked "Saturn" because I'm a Capricorn, I love Sailor Saturn, and I think Saturn Valley in Earthbound is really cool.

I named my town after a real city (Venice). I went there once and it was like walking around in a story book. *_* You could use named like Florence or Paris or London or something.
