THE STRANGEST THING JUST HAPPENED...

Hello all, here's a mystery for you to solve. I had someone from a town come over to pick up a villager I had for sale and then a few days later (maybe 4) A villager from their town moved in! It was Namoi and I never asked her to move in. What happened? Has it happened to anyone else? How is this possible?

I'll also add that I knew Naomi was from that town because she named it! She said: Hi I don't think we've met before, I am moving here from (insert town name of persons town)

Villagers can move into your town from another player's void if they visit your town, you visit their town, or you streetpass them. It happens all the time with my husband and I.

The void is basically the term for where villagers go when they move out of your town if no one else adopts them.

Hello! I have had this happen to me before. A month ago, Static moved in from one of my friends. A few weeks later, I had Cherry move and she ended up in another of my friend's town. :/ I guess it happens.

It is! She's in my cycle town so thats why I said like 4 days later (been getting people villagers lol) Can't believe it it's so funny! She's very cute btw.

No need to apologise! She's in my cycle town so it really doesn't matter. Yes I plan on having a really nice feast tonight... It's kind of cool actually, I like the idea you can get villagers from the void. It's a nice touch to the game

I've had this happen a couple of times where some of my villagers moved to a friend's town and theirs to mine. I always get very nervous when I go to other people's towns or they come to mine. I'm like "Will I get someone from this person's town?" Though I do agree with you, it's kinda fun getting someone random from another town. When I do, that villager is always talking about their old town, so it's kinda neat.
