Okay, so for half of the forum community this doesn't apply, but for my fellow Mac users out there, The Sims 4 for Mac was released today! I've been stalking the EA Twitter feed since September in an attempt to find out when the game was being released for Mac, and they finally gave a date a couple of weeks ago. As a huge fan of the series, I'm so very excited!

For those of you who already have the game, how do you like it? Have you gotten bored of it since its release or are you still finding some fun stuff to do?

I have gotten incredibly bored of it. It's great that they went back to the roots of the sims as far as functionality goes, and the character creation is off the hook, but after having the sims 3 and all the expansions I'm honestly a little unsure of what to do next. It's just boring.

I still stand by my feelings on two story houses as well. Hate them. (I'm too lazy to tab up to the next floor)

Its boring, stick with Sims 3. Even the console version is better than this.

I agree that multiple stories are hard to get use to, I had to force myself to get use to it cause of buildings and neighbor houses around town being 2 stories sometimes.

I feel like the lot sizes are a lot smaller in 4 than they were in 3. You're basically forced to build up.

Dang, is it not that enjoyable?? I was planning on buying it soon since I've waited forever for the Mac release but now :v

Meh it sucks.
If you really want it I'd wait till it's like 10 bucks.

I almost bought it... ALMOST HAH!

You'd be better off playing Sims 3 or 2

It sucks that you guys aren't finding it enjoyable! I've heard some similar commentary on forums and from people I talk to. I'm hoping that once they release some expansion packs, there will be some fun new content. I remember getting sick of The Sims 3 for awhile until Supernatural came out, and then I was hooked again. I think the franchise seems to function that way for me. xD
