The height of your signature is ok, but the size of the file is 6.47 MB, which is over the 5 MB limit (rule quoted below). Having a signature with a large file size can slow down the loading of pages, which is why there's a limit in place. Sorry about that!
To answer your other question, your signature does not have to be Animal Crossing related!
I am currently working on some art for my signature anyways, since I figured that the gif was probably gonna lag stuff.
