I know there are people here who still play Animal Crossing for the Gamecube. Well if you didn't already know (or if you needed a reminder), you can finally fish in peace, away from the dreaded sea bass! The fish that remain are incredibly profitable, making ocean fishing your best chance at making a lot of bells really quickly. I know I'll be doing some myself.

On a side note, where do you think they go anyway, and why is it only for one specific month? I like to think they all take a vacation to some place of fire and brimstone that these creatures would call a resort.

Act fast, they will only be gone for a couple weeks! By October they will have returned to your town from whatever nightmare dimension they originate from, and fishing profits will become poor again for another year!

This is why I loved fishing in September back in the GameCube version. Money making was much easier. But that’s only because the salmon are there.

I have been playing AC:GCN for almost 11 years and I did not know that Sea Bass go away in September. How did I not know this???

I just looked it up, and they're actually only gone for the first 10 days of September. Isn't it strange that they return on... September 11th...?

So I learned something new about the sea basses in Animal Crossing today. No wonder why we hate them so much.

Purely an accident, I'm sure

I LOVED this time of year way back when. Ahh, it was so good to see my bells just go up and up thanks to this. xD Fishing for bass was the other fishing method I always used too.
