ive been plotsetting a lot recently since i figured out what i want my town to look like but i keep having a lot... of trouble. i kno i need to put down more pwps where i dont want them but sometimes its difficult! and just doesnt... work... i guess i should worry about it later but before that....

ive been stuck trying to plot reset for julian literally all day. he keeps landing in the same spot. every so often its a different, but still undesirable plot. then back to the original plot. does anyone else have this problem? ive had other villagers do it too but its getting worse....!! plot resetting is heck. is there anyway i can influence that now?

ive been testing if theres a difference between making yr chars dif ways... different name, different gender, different choices.... but even though it has worked a couple times to break the pattern for the most part, it doesnt. i can't really see a pattern.

does anyone else have this much gotdang trouble trying to plot reset?
is there anything you do that you think influences yr plot resetting?
do you have any information you can recall from plot resetting before and what affected it?

Villagers love to move in on top of rare hybrids! Place some hybrids in the spot you want him, and it should work!

I reset my town because I was so frustrated with plot resetting. I really hate it. I don't have time to waste endless hours trying to get them to a desirable spot.

My new town had 9/10 good spots. I just need to get one of my starters out. I'm hoping finding a new spot won't be a trial. Trying to have more spots for them to live.

Lol that's not true.

Anyway, now that you are resetting already there is no way to influence where the plot resets to. There are favoured spots where plots lands more often than anywhere else. Remember those spots and block all (seriously all spots where it now resets to and you don't want there houses) of them with PWP:s for the next moves. Good luck.

Considering how often people complain about villagers move in on top of hybrids, it does seem true.

It's not true. Hybrids are often planted in masses which leaves wide open spaces. Plots favour wide open spaces and probaly spaces near player houses. It has nothing to do with the flowers themself.

Is this real?
No.

yea putting in pwps after this is... definitely the plan orz but for now i guess i have no choice but to reset a million times and die slowly inside

i love your username lmao

anyway, villagers tend to move into old spots where old villagers used to live. its just because theres more room there. add a small pwp in areas you dont want villagers to live in next time. but you cant really determine where he lives. make sure theres enough room in the spot you want him to live in though

lmao the startup screen showed Diana plopping her house down EXACTLY where I wanted it, but apparently that doesn't mean she'll put it there when I load up the game fo' real. Still resetting to try to get her there.

this has happened to me tooo its terrible

Well, with good enough PWP placement you can semi-determine where the plot should go. At least so you get it fast where you want it. I had to reset for Julian's plot for hours but the rest in that line that came after it (see my signature), I got pretty fast to the right spot.

well i meant for julian specifically. they cant determine where julian can live right now because they cant place pwps

idk but like. i think its maybe like the same length of a house but it needs some space by the sides. but basically he cant live in areas squished by pwps
