The rain music plays while it's not raining

EDIT: I open my 3DS and it played the normal 12AM music again. Weird.

Was it exactly 12am or right before? Maybe it stopped but still played

This is how it happened to me.
It had rained when I closed my system, then when i took it off standby it stopped but the rain music still played until I went and closed my system again

Maybe there were still a few drops coming :3 It happened to me once, the rainy music started but it was not raining yet, it began to actually rain two minutes later. It was bizarre but since I love the soundtracks in the rain I wasn't too bothered.

This has happened to me a couple of times. I think sometimes the music doesn't catch up with the weather.
