The Problem with the Swimming suit

Do u also wish u could access ur swimsuit - through the tool ring / wand outfit?

i know u can wear it below a wand outfit and to somehow go around it but stil..
if you want to edit a wand outfit with this method - u are gonna need to:
1. take off wand outfit
2. take off swimming suit
3. edit wand outfit
4.wear swimsuit again
5. use wand again.

why cant i use the swimming suit like its a net or some other tool? it really bothers me lol

Tell me about it. The worst is when you come to try on some clothes in the able sisters. You gotta turn the wand outfit off then take off the wetsuit before you can even enter the change room lol.

Thats great and sometimes i do it also, but the way its made feels wrong to me.
you should have the option to take it of/switch it more easily.

I'm usually just running around in the wetsuit on my own island. The wetsuit did encourage me to make a bunch of outfits for the wand though. I never really used the wand before, but now I have a reason.

I find it mildly frustrating. It's still a tool and I get that. But I'm sure Nintendo is smart enough to know what clothes you wear underneath. It might be just a coding protection thing lumped under 'tools' like wands.

I’ve not really encountered this problem too much yet, as like other people have mentioned - I’m rocking the swimsuit as part of an outfit choice.
I tried the wand thing but it was too much faffing for my like.
I would be nice to be able to equip it to the tool ring though.

Oh, I'm totally down for that too. I hardly use my vaulting pole anymore. It's annoying because I keep all my tools and it takes up 11 ish spaces. I wish the tool thing was like new leaf where it's actually equipped and not in your inventory.

the user experience is just bogus lmao. i've only worn the wetsuit since the update because all i've been doing is diving, but also because i realized it is just so hard to manage clothes on underneath and/or wand outfits when using the diving suit.

i'd love it in the tool ring, but i'd most prefer it could be equipped just like a costume/dress and it could live in wand outfits. i like to wear a swimcap and water shoes whenever i dive lol.

Yes it takes a while to go thru the motion. It would be helpful to have it under quick tools.

to be fair, the swim suit isn’t new. in new leaf, it was the same deal. you’d have to keep it on so maybe i’m used to it and not the luxury of this new system. to the point where i haven’t bought it cause i don’t think it’s that inconvenient to swap normally

Same. I have pink flip flops and a pink hibiscus and the shell pochette. Underneath is dark blue denim cutoffs and a black front-tie shirt, should I ever take the Nook, Inc. wet suit off. I look hella cute.

pre-welcome amiibo update new leaf where you could glitch yourself into the water without a wetsuit was the best, tbh
