The power of the main character(Mayor) is absolute?

HI, everyone,i am going to create a new character for my town.(i create a character[Mayor] only until now)

But i want to confirm that the power of the mayor and hope someone can answer following questions.

(1)Is the mayor can put, get and change items/wallpaper etc. of other characters' houses of the same town?

(2)Does characters(mayor and other character) can exchange items,paths pattern, own desigh clothes' pattern with each other?How?

(3)Does characters(resident) can create path by placing path's pattern on the floor?If yes, does the mayor can delete those patterns which are created by other character(resident)?

Powers of the Mayor:

-The only one that can make PWP & Ordinances.

-The only one that can collect PWP suggestions.

Besides that the Mayor cannot edit someone else's home. (1) (Unless you log in as that character)

She also can't use someone else's designs.

*unless that are displayed & available in Able Sister's or they are made Free in the Dreamsuite & you copy them by visiting your own town in the Dreamsuite.

You can however rub out the paths someone else lays out, but they can also do that with your paths!

My other player who lives with me in real life role plays with the other character & writes me letters with gifts.

If they have more things to give me they just drop/bury them in front of my house.

The Mayor's power cannot be that absolute as that would cause too many fights with siblings sharing a game. (imagine if you weren't the Mayor & someone changed your floor & wallpaper without asking!)

oic....ur reply helps me a lot...since i want to upgrade my whole town...and create different themes for different houses...so i need to know that the power of mayor actually.....it let me know i need to make my dream comes true by combining powers of all the characters!

I'm trying to do the same thing. I have three characters, I play two of them & someone else plays the third! I'm trying to get all the PWP & catalog finished so I can make a truly artistic town.

It's 60-70% of the way there, but the homes are no where near completed, I'm just doing the challenges right now & will make a theme after playing around for a bit.

IT's sounds great ....i just decide to upgrade my Town....and i am thinking about the location of houses and start to design both interior and exterior themes of hourses....a big job...
