The perfect town layout! Except... rocks -_-

I just started my town for Elkstone this morning, and then this layout came up... the layout of my dreams.




It's so perfect for me! I love how the river hugs the plaza, so I can put a few of my villagers around there I just hate how there's so many rocks clumped everywhere... it's making it hard to build PWP's. I swear there's at least 6 annoying rocks in the way in really bad places, and they're all bunched up as well! I wish there was some way to get rid of them...

Yeah I tried going around breaking them but the clumpy ones are unfortunately permanent oh well, I guess it can be overlooked since the layout is so nice.

Rocks can always be worked around!
I've never heard someone reset purely because of rocks.

You could incorporate them into a rock garden - with flowers and tiles... kinda like a zen garden type of thing. You wouldn't be able to farm them for bells, but at least they're disguised.

I was considering that, maybe making them look pretty with flowers and paths. Ah I just hate rocks!

I just hide the rocks behind trees and such.

Guise you're all making me feel better thank you I almost had a heart attack of happiness when Rover was like 'IZ DIS ELKSTONE' I was like 'UH HELL YEA IT'S ELKSTONE'. I'll find a way to make them work, even if they bug me beyond belief... ESPECIALLY the one right at the edge of the plaza...

Ah, just ignore them rocks. If they are in an unwanted place, well shrughs, just incorporate it to the design as well.

Transform the "bad" in better.

Nice layout! I've got the same one. In my layout there also are 6 or 7 rocks, and now there's only 1 rock left that isn't in a good spot, because I was able to work around the others

O wow...that looks exactly like my town layout! But I never done resets though, since I didn't know any better when I started my game last year.

Awesome layout, it's somewhat similar to my own. The only thing that would bother me is how close re-tail is to the waterfall, as I like to put my house there, but that's just personal preference. I would only reset for rocks if one was where I wanted to put my house. Rocks are annoying no matter where they are anyway, you just have to work around them.

It is! That's what I thought. I don't know how to solve the rock question though.

I have rocks in awful places and for one of them I stuck the windmill in front of it! I'm planning on putting my police station in front of another one.

That's a nice layout! I would stick with that one if I got it. I did get a nice map once with annoying rocks and ended up resetting, and I'm glad because I ended up finding a better map later. The rocks weren't the only thing I disliked about the map though, it was just what really pushed me to reset.
