Don't be so sure. Just because we don't post here doesn't mean we're not talking about it.Fabio said:Oh, and of course this goes 'unnoticed' by the administration.

You should see my suggestion threads that I need to bump around 10-15 times only to get locked and warned.Fabio said:Oh, and of course this goes 'unnoticed' by the administration.

I can sort of see where you're coming from, but you kind of confused me with your statement.only_half_evil333 said:Most staff always say post maturely, but I find it hard to post maturely when there is nothing mature to talk about. Yes most serious debates get locked. But I sort of find that our faults because they get out of hand. We need more freedom to talk more maturely or TBT will never change.

So If I talk about what college I want to go to, or what courses I'm taking, It's political? And by local news, that could simply be things that are going on in and around your town, such as events that are taking place, which you would like to discuss with others. I was unaware that was politics, and if I recall, Storm said he'd allow light politics. And as I've said in the other thread, (which is just us having another conversationPropaganda Man said:* Religious topics and beliefs; however, holiday and history discussions are allowedTwilightKing said:Education, local news, Sports, technology, economics, and sciences.Propaganda Man said:I'll give a bell to first person who can name 6 legitimate serious topics that can be discussed that doesn't break the rules.

* Sexual oreintation or any topic about sexual matters
* Politics
* Other controversial topics or topics that may result in flaming
Sports will result in flaming and Economics and Education can go under politics. Local news, not legitimate.

There seriously needs to be less rules on what we can and cannot talk about. The staff seriously went overboard with them. There needs to be less restictions. I'll give anyone a 100 bells if they show me a serious topic that isn't locked.Propaganda Man said:* Religious topics and beliefs; however, holiday and history discussions are allowedTwilightKing said:Education, local news, Sports, technology, economics, and sciences.Propaganda Man said:I'll give a bell to first person who can name 6 legitimate serious topics that can be discussed that doesn't break the rules.

Don't as me, Storm was the one who said thisJJRamone2 said:What the hell is 'light politics'? Mike Gravel?
There isn't any. It's impossible to talk about light-weight politics. You can't talk about our crappy economy, (http://vermonsta.com/), illegal immigration or the election.JJRamone2 said:What the hell is 'light politics'? Mike Gravel?
It just depends on the actual topic itself. You can talk about education without it even touching anything political.Propaganda Man said:Education can be political in how it is done.
Sorry about that JJ, I misread Storm's post, this is the quote:JJRamone2 said:What the hell is 'light politics'? Mike Gravel?
