The Official Game Guide - Potential Spoilers

I received my copy today after waffling between buying and not buying, and am overall fairly pleased with the information contained within. One thing I learned is that having a 5-star island increases your likelihood of finding elegant and rare mushrooms, and decreases your chances of finding skinny, flat, and round mushrooms.

Of those that have the guide, what new or different things did you learn perusing the pages?
