Although T&T Emporium has a nice design, more furniture sold, and GracieGrace, I favor longer opening hours like T&T Mart. Even if they don't sell as much, they are open longer (especially on Night Owl). Besides, if there's anything you want that they can't sell, you can always order them when you have a catalog or buy from other users.
What do you like more? If a store in-game is open longer, or when you can get almost anything?
I'd rather be able to buy more than have longer hours, honestly. It's faster (and cheaper) than buying from other users, generally, especially since other users always want you to pay more for items than they sell in the store. Still, buying from others has advantages too. Still I'd rather buy from stores when I can.
I'm also guessing that longer hours are unneccessary because people taken advantage of time traveling. I still prefer the longer hours, but the contradictory opinions have good points too.
Well I don't even have TIY yet, so I'm definitely in favor of more selection. I really want to get further along in landscaping my town, but I can't buy bushes or bamboo yet, so there' a limit to how much I can do.
I voted for a balance. I really hated dealing with the Super T&T's constricted hours after the convenience of the T&T Mart, even if it did have a few more things available to buy. I was pretty pleased with T.I.Y, though. I haven't had the T&T Emporium yet, so I can't comment on that.
I would like longer hours just so I could use the catalog machine. The catalog should have been added like the fishing/bug/diving items. Visit a town and you can quickly see if you need it.
During the summer I kept the store opened an hour extra by staying on the machine. I was going thru my check list on items still needed for my players. Hit the wrong button and the machine closed. Got kicked out of the store.
I time travel too, but it's not much the longer hours I want. It's the night hours. I like my stores open in the depths of the night, and longer hours are the only way to have stores open this late.
I prefer variety but sometimes i play late at night and screw myself over but no big deal i just TT back a few hours since i'm not a huge turnip trader.
I prefer the larger selection. One of the first things I do during my daily run through is check the stores to see what they have in stock. That pretty much leaves me the entire day to decide whether I want to buy anything before 9. I don't TT that often, but I have occasionally gone back an hour or two if I forget to go back to the store.
And don't get me started on Gracie's lousy selection!
