The New Animal Crossing 2DS xl

It was my birthday very recently and i got mainly money so I've been playing with the idea of getting the new animal crossing 2ds xl model. My first 3ds ever was the animal crossing one, but i sadly ended up having to throw it out, loosing my savedata. Since then I've bought a second hand physical copy and a new 3ds and been playing that on and off, only really got back into it a month ago.
I miss having the bigger screen and having the game preinstalled on the device was great, too, plus, i really like the design of the new one, but the game is so old already and i feel like we are bound to get a switch version next year or the year after at the latest.
It comes out in ten days, so I still have a while to think about it, i was just wondering if anyone else was gonna get it and if so, why? And what do you thing about the design? Personally, I like it better than the other two ACNL themed models.
If I do end up gettig it, i think i'll start a new town there and keep it kinda privat and without time travel and use the town i have now to order items from my amiibo for other members here and maybe start cycling villagers.

I'm really tempted to buy it but I think I'm going to skimp out on it. If I were to buy it, I'd own four consoles from the 3DS family. I love the design (much more than the New Leaf XL) and would love to get my hands on one, but I already own two copies of NL, I really don't need a third, especially since I hardly play anymore. If the console came with a physical copy then I'd be more inclined to buy it, since I do want a physical copy of Welcome amiibo (and will probably sell one of my NL copies and then buy a Welcome amiibo copy when it drops down to a Nintendo Select $30 title here in Australia the day the 2DS XL releases), but even then I have little need for another console.

I'd get it, if I didn't already have a n3DS XL I recently bought. Plus, I really cannot stand the speakers they use in the n2DS XL system. The quality is so poor from my experiences with them.

i like to own 2 consoles for ACNL and pok?mon purposes and i dislike my n3ds (hurts my hands) so i was interested in this one too.

it?s a really nice design, i love the shade of green chosen and the sewing detail is really cute

however i chose to buy the recently released white and lavender 2ds xd instead, because purple/lavender is life

Still, not sure I can justify the cost. I bought the New 2DS XL: Pokeball edition, so it's not like I need another 2DS. But ugh that shade of green. Looks so good. Maybe I can give my current 2DS away or something haha

That's what i did with my wii u when the switch came out I'm still thinking about it, but i'll probably end up getting it
