Pokémon The most random shiny luck

A while ago, I was hatching eggs in ORAS because I really wanted a shiny Rotom and a shiny Ralts.

The Rotom took a few full boxes but eventually happened. The Ralts was taking too long and I eventually gave up.

On Wednesday I felt like playing ORAS again, saw that I had 3 eggs in my party, and decided: Well, what the hell? I may as well hatch these.

The first one was a shiny Ralts.

Yesterday, I was trying to hatch a 6 IV Scyther. Out of nowhere, one comes up that looks just a bit...off.
Turns out, it's a shiny, too.

I'm going to have a lime Scizor.
Oh my god.

I'm also just now realizing that every shiny I've hatched is male.

I was pretty much in shock. Both of these happened on a bus, too. I should hatch during bus rides more often.

That's awesome luck! I got super lucky myself one day too. I was breeding Poochyenas for a good hour or so to get the egg moves and ability I wanted. Once I was happy I put it in the daycare with a different language Poochyena and after hatching the first egg it was a shiny female! I was so shocked! Then later that same day I went to the safari zone to chain Pikachu with the Dex Nav and on the first enounter I ran into a shiny female! I couldn't believe my luck two Shinies right off the bat twice in one day! It normally takes me days just to get one shiny!

after i got a hacked ditto for breeding, my shiny luck ran out quick. i used it to breed more bagon line pkmn bc i hav a living kalos dex. after the first couple of eggs, i got a shiny and i havent gotten one since, despite using the hacked ditto all the time for breeding.

My boyfriend and I had been playing Pokemon X and he was trying to hatch I think a shiny Skarmory for hours with no luck and I was trying to get somewhere and avoiding all the grass. I accidentally stepped in tall grass and immediately was attacked. It turned out to be a shiny oddish. My boyfriend was so angry because he had been trying to hatch a shiny for days and I just randomly found one in the wild

I haven't had any shiny luck since Platinum. I definitely put at least 100 hours into the Friend safari, if not 200. I have hatched 10,000 eggs and then I stopped because it wasn't worth the time.

My trainer ID sucks apparently. Got one of those ones where shinies are rarer...

Grats! I know that Poochyena shiny is quite popular. My friend wanted one, not sure if she ever got it, haha.
My first shiny took a day (I wanted a shiny Sylveon) but the second took over 1,300 eggs. It was the first shiny Ralts I hatched. I hatched another because I wanted to rename the other one but no longer could. Woops!

Even with a foreign Ditto, it can take a really long time to hatch shinies, sometimes still over a thousand eggs. I definitely know this. ;;

Haha! My friend hatched a shiny of the Pokemon I was looking for within hours. It took me over a week of hatching.

I'm currently working on filling up my Pokedex via the GTS. I was looking for a Zubat and the person who traded me gave me a shiny one called Dr. Acula. I love it, I have it in its own separate box. Of course, I had to get a different Zubat lol.

What happens if you Pokebank your pokemon and restart? I never really looked into that, and it does sound rather inconvenient.

I think maybe I got a better ID for ORAS than I did for X/Y because I've managed to hatch 3 shinies in less time than it took me to hatch one in X/Y. that could totally be random though, since it's all really just chance.

I was aiming to get a shiny froakie and this took days
So one day, I was watching tv-not really paying attention to the game because now it was like
"This egg isn't even going to be shiny" feeling
So a egg hatch, didn't look at the screen cause I was too absorb into the tv. Finally looked down and bam a shiny froakie
At first I was like, this can't possibly be a shiny cause it looked the same but when I looked closer, it was lighter so yeah

A little over a week ago on Friday I got a shiny hawlucha after trying to get one forever, I don't know how many boxes it took but I often just released the 4IV ones and the 5IV ones were either traded off on the GTS or wondertraded until I finally got her after months and when I finally got one she was perfect. She is adamant with the limber ability and has 5IVs in all the right places (spec. attack is the one that isn't perfect, no big loss).

Funny thing, the following week after I got her was filled with awesome luck when it came to shinys; two shiny gligar in one afternoon when trying to EV train my new hawlucha against hordes, a shiny 5iv honedge on the 8th egg when I was trying to IV breed a partner for her (I call them Cloak and Dagger) without even using the Masuda method (Dagger was the only 5IV one in her group as well, the rest were 3-4IVs), then when trading off Cloak's last few 5iv hawlucha siblings I got a shiny groudon and a shiny kyogre on the GTS, and while wondertrading last Wednesday I got a shiny pidgeot and a shiny charmander. It has been crazy, I suddenly get more shiny pokemon in the week after Cloak hatched than I had in all the games I ever played put together before, this hawlucha is good luck or something.

I kept hearing the same thing, but it never seemed to affect my game, even when I tipped max.

Haha, no special attack on a physical Pokemon really is fine.
The sad part: The first shiny Ralts I hatched had no special attack listed on its good IVs. ;;

Maybe one of my shinies will be good luck for me in trades. That would be nice...

If you want good luck in trades try wondertrading on a Wednesday, there are some people who specifically choose Wednesday to wondertrade awesome pokemon and I've gotten an occasional shiny or legendary from there and numerous 5iv pokemon. Last Wondertrade Wednesday I sent out a bunch of 5iv Haunters with egg moves and pomeg berries, you may still get something lame but it's still a fun little event if you want to take a chance.

Cool, those legendary goats or whatever they are look cool. I like Cobalions myself when it comes to the legendary goats but Terrakions have a much cooler shiny variant.

Dang, that's some good luck!

My first shiny was a blastoise, I hatched it on egg 2. I almost released it because I hadn't noticed it was shiny. xD My other shiny I hatched was a shiny espurr. It was hatched in the beginning of box 1.

Edit: The bad thing is I thought it would take a million boxes to hatch one, so I spent three hours filling my PC with eggs. Didn't even need one box...
