The first time I tried shiny breeding was when I was breeding Eevees. On New Year's Eve it hatched.

Yeah, there's a few that I've been trying to hunt down, but I have the worst luck when it comes to shiny Pokemon. The only ones I have were bred by other people. I've been playing the series for sixteen years and to my recollection, never personally encountered (excluding shiny Gyaradros) or hatched a shiny regardless of how many hours I've wasted trying. Hahaha, someday though! Right now, I'm mostly looking for a shiny male Ralts (god help me) and Torchic.
I haven't completed the National Pokedex for the shiny charm yet, so that's another factor in my bad luck, lol.

I wish. It's 5 IV though (and not missing attack) so I'm fine with it.

Wow, what a cool day to hatch a shiny Eevee. I kind of want to hatch another shiny Eevee to make another shiny Sylveon but that will be for another day.

Aside from Mawike, which I never managed to get a shiny for, Ralts was the hardest.
