The Megaphone Friendship Trick

Did you know if you call a villager's name into the megaphone when they're in a close proximity, they'll react differently based on what your friendship level you have with them is?

Yeah, I noticed that! I love how the villagers you aren't as friendly with become shocked and ticked off, while the ones you're friendly with are like, "Oh, hi!"

I think this also works if you have the "waving" emotion. Some with wave back, some a polite bow. Or if you mistreat them.. Well they probably just think you're waving ironically

I've done this a lot with o'hare.
But be careful not to use it when you're right in front of them. xD

Good luck with the trick though. 99.99% of the times I try to use the megaphone, Kapp'n always responds. Why on Earth did Nintendo allow Kapp'n answer the megaphone? It's not like he's always moving about.
