I've got a book in my pocket atm, waiting for it to expire. It takes a couple of days. Then you can drop it. If you'd like it I can give it to you for your library.

Oh that's so sweet of you! I can be patient and wait for my villagers to lose another one, though. lol they seem to be losing things ALL the time. The library is in my Pride and Prejudice house, so it's not bugging me too bad to be missing it, since it's not my main Thank you, though!!

Well then, I don't see a point in it either. You're right, it's just a 2D image. It's like the generic version of actual furniture :/

not sure what you guys mean by 2D bc they look pretty nice to me, and I dont have a pic of the lost items atm but here's a pic of the harvest furniture in my house! in the back by the hisbiscus and the shaved ice maker!

They look like 3D items in your house, they can be put on tables and look really cute. I have a book on a side table in my library as if someone's reading, and I love the look. I see it used that way a lot (or next to a bed). The bag looks really cute in a shop. The mitten -- I haven't seen that used as much, but in the winter I left one on the ground in my playground like someone dropped it. I've never used the pouch (the blue drawstring bag) but I think it could look cute in someone's room too.

Almost all the event items can be used as cute props for dressing up a room, and they look just as good as "real" items do.

With 2D they mean that if you rotate the viewing angle the item will rotate with it, you always see the "front side".

The only useless item I found was the paper scrap. (Collected after you keep a villagers petition for too long)
But the books and Harvest items are cool

I use the pouch in my pave room where there is a picnic basket and a pie... so it looks like it is part of packing for a picnic...
And in my garden store room I have one there as well since it looks cute.
...
Really, all I ever find my villagers losing is pouches. XP
