There was a theory proposed titled "Borges’ Library of Babel" that states if you randomly generated and recorded an infinite amount of 26 possible characters, you'd be able to create a library that contains every book/statement/quote/thought that has ever been made or will be made. This theory was put to the test and the results were actually pretty dam surprising. The Libary of Babel is a free website that anyone can go to and view a large range of randomly generated books, but what makes it really cool is the search feature. You can search for any 3200(the length of each volume) characters and you'll be pointed to a couple areas where the exact arrangement shows up. What this means is that anything you could possibly come up with has already been written and recorded by their algorithm. What's more, is that they also include randomly generated images in the same way and it actually does create viewable/distinct images. For example, images of yourself that you never took like your birth, your 13th birthday party, or even your own death. Of course, this does mean the creators of the website have to store all of this information for it to be accessible and if they were recording them normally it would obviously take an incredible amount of storage space. However, the website actually creates what are called "seeds" that can be deciphered using an algorithm and then turned back into a text document. If you've ever played Minecraft and understand how saves and maps are done with seeds codes then this is probably making a lot more sense. So because they're made into seeds, searching for a specific matching generated code can be done in seconds instead of going through each and every document. After the document seed is constructed and shown to the viewer, the document than deletes itself to save space but the seed still remains there in storage. You can share library positions like sharing coordinates and other people will be able to find the same information by going to the same place.
