Tangy
spicy gal. thinks she can outlift everyone. friends with everyone

Chief
Chief has taken it upon himself to be Ashdew's local security. After begrudgingly agreeing to her constant pleas, Chief and Tangy patrol Ashdew at night for night clowns and other suspicious personnel. He was once a country boy who dreamt of the city, but after years of dumpster diving and scrapping about in city alleyways he's come back for a more relaxed lifestyle.

Lolly
Thanks to Lolly, Ashdew has a monthly book club. She is sweet and gets along with everyone. She lives next door to Chief and secretly listens to the late night rock/metal he plays, although she is too shy to tell him that they have the same music taste.

Diana
a classy lady. thinks shep smells

Shep
Shep is a stoner dude whom everybody loves for his laid-back attitude. You'll be sure to catch him investigating the local flora and singing country songs on his front porch with his guitar. Don't ask him about his fleas, though.

Cole
a national treasure. I don't know why his house is a beach.
COLE IS GONE. I'M COMING BACK FOR YOU.

everyone loves skye. moved to ashdew as part of her soul-searching journey. she's the book club's most loyal member

he's a nerdy guy at heart who wants everyone to think he's cool and trendy. probably drinks hipster coffee

After a chilly morning rain Bam visited Ashdew's campsite. Finch was pleased that she didn't have to water all the flowers today.

Audie has officially moved and settled into Ashdew. I found her on my 5th ticket of a NMT hunt and couldn't pass her up I'm pretty torn right now on if I want to keep Tangy or swap her out for Audie, since I still have to get my last dreamie Snake.
But damn are those shades tragic on her. At least Tangy doesn't wear them when she works out.

Thank you! Yes Tangy is an absolute treasure, but I do find it hilarious how she seems to have a cult-like following.
I caught her having a conversation with Chief where she was basically nagging to help him on his night patrols of the island to keep everyone safe, and now they always work out together!

May 4th , 2020
Over yesterday and today I've been tearing down and gradually rebuilding my residential area. It's heavily inspired by a post I saw on tumblr and I think it'll suit the natural theme of my island a lot better than what I had before. However only after finishing one side did I realise I won't be able to make an exactly symmetrical layout on the other side because of my bridge :\ Back to the drawing board

On the other hand, I'm pleased at how other ares of my island are coming along. I was so close to moving Finch's home up to the second level of the island but I'm starting to appreciate its current location a bit more.

and omg same i was also shocked when i first saw audie's exercise outfit too.. HAHA worst part is it feels like she is ALWAYS exercising so i never see her in her normal clothes sksksj

Yea so far almost every time I've seen Audie she's working out...she's putting all the jock villagers I had to shame.

I'm so relieved at finishing my new residential area, and I downloaded (is that the right word) some new custom designs to finish off the area. In the end it's not symmetrical anymore but that should be fine. Reneigh unfortunately has the smallest plot of anyone in the town, but at least she gets her own private waterfall on both sides. Now begins my 1 million bell project of slowly relocating all my villagers back into their proper places.

Skye and Chief are always hanging out together...that is all I will say.

Thank you! Yea omg placing a plot 1 tile off centre kills me. I saw someone on Twitter do the thing where they lay everything out first with a custom pattern and that helps heaps.

So. A lot happened. Because I was time travelling. Why? Because I decided to let Audie go. As much as it pains me she just doesn't suit the aesthetic of the island and her design and house sticks out like a sore thumb amongst everyone else's muted/natural designs. After she was adopted I decided that I was ready to get in my last dreamie Snake and scanned in his Amiibo, but it went to the answering machine and I couldn't invite him to my campsite. After digging around on the internet I found out that Amiibos going to the answering machine means that they're in your void and will move into your town naturally. So you're telling me I spent $1.21 real life money for Snake's amiibo and this son of a b decides to move in naturally. Ok.
So I let Audie go and TT forwards to let her plot be filled. It's not Snake. It's Beau. Now I know better than to TT to cycle out my most recent villager so that means someone has to go. I decided that Cole had to be sacrificed so at least I'll maintain 1 personality of every type (except jock) in my town.

So Cole is gone. Beau is in. I TT. It's Deidre. That's not Snake. But I learned something from this. Do I love Beau? Yes. Does he suit my island aesthetic? Also yes. Just like Cole he has a questionable interior but I'm willing to look past that. But alas Beau has to go, so I TT and he leaves. Beau is in my void now btw if anyone wants me to go to their town and drop him off. I TT forwards again. It's Snake.

So turns out Snake was third down my void queue. Also I TT'd at least 4 individual times so I can confirm that you cannot clear your void by TTing forwards 4 times. All is good right? No. Cole is gone. I also want Beau. Deirdre has to leave. What has my town become.

In his memory, here is a pic of when my friend Cole came to visit and duked it out in a gladiator ring with my Cole because there can only be one. Cole won.

Also Snake came to my island with the corona. Unbelievable.

ahhhhh im so sorry all this happened to you, i got second hand anxiety just reading it tbh i didn't know there was like a queue of voided villagers that works this way in NH to be honest, but really good to know... I hope you're able to get all your dreamies and your island back to normal soon
