Whatever the "bad stuff" is, it doesn't really make the internet horrible. Unless you browse through Youtube comments or 4Chan's boards, then yes, the internet has a dark side.

Sadly, a lot of people find themselves being at the top of the food chain warrants them murdering animals. They like to think they've risen above the primal instincts, and then actually just drop back into an uncivilized state. What I say is a bit cliche, but it's a sad truth.

For that reason I also think that rather than calling this thread "the internet is horrible" it should be called "people are horrible". The internet allows for a great deal of anonymity, which then leads to people exposing themselves like that. After all, by their logic, they can't be caught (even though people have been caught over it on hundreds of occasions).

Seeing it is terrible, but at one point everybody needs to realize that a lot of people lie about who they are.


Then again, we still don't know what creepysheepy saw.

That explains the anti-semitism all over the internet. The other group that I really hate are closet communists who post anti-democracy comments, bash western countries, and call Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mao heroes.
