I'm sure everyone has that issue where we fizzle out on ideas and need a little inspiration. So, boom this thread exists.
Share some of your favourite spots on your island, it can be anything! Or if you need help finding inspiration you can talk about it here.

This is the thread I needed today as I am trying out a new path. Now, I said I wasn't going to go all in on custom paths because 1) I genuinely like the vanilla paths and 2) it's a rabbit hole I cannot afford to go down right now, but...I am a glutton for color and this is definitely the most colorful "natural" path I've seen. But I'm curious about what my fellow Belltree folks think. Too loud and cartoony? Not loud and cartoony enough? Something else?

That looks so amazing! I think it goes really well with the bamboo. I think it's a nice mix of zen and fantasy? It's not too in your face. I'm the same though with paths. I tend to keep it to clovers or flowers to add more detail, I have one path but it matches the natural stone ramps. I don't have a theme to my island but I like to keep it simple.

Thanks for the con-crit! I agree that it's very fantasy, which suits me just fine as my island doesn't have a strict theme either, Unless "vaguely tropical fantasy ecosystem where cedar trees, fruit trees and bamboo all happily grow side by side," is a theme, ha. I think I'll keep the path around long enough to see it in different weathers and times of day in order to really judge if it's a keeper or not. It takes up 15 pattern slots though...yeesh.

Hope all is well in the west coast. I love the design!!!! You sure you don't wear fancy scarves!?!?!? It got me very curious about your paradise. When could I catch a flight there?

Haaa! You are welcome on my island anytime (though I'm afraid only tiny parts of it look good atm). I won't even insist you wear a fancy scarf...for the first visit, anyway!
