For adolescents, it recommends 2.5 mg of caffeine per kg of body weight. After doing some quick math and conversion, I should be having about 130 mg of caffeine intake.
I'm not 100% sure what kind of coffee my parents make (the CFG lists a bunch of different types, like brewed and instant), but "roasted and ground, filter drip" is probably my best guess. If that's the case, then I'm getting an average of 179 mg of caffeine. ...Yeah, that's 49 mg more than what I should be having.
Should I stop drinking coffee as of right now? Probably. Or at least until I either gain a bit more weight or I become an adult so my recommended caffeine intake will go up to 400 mg, whichever happens first.
