The Hunger Games

Does anyone here read this series? I read the first one, I'm going to start the second one soon and I can't wait to see what happens.

My only problem with the first book is that Foxface didn't win, I think she should have. Her death was impractical, but if she did win there would have been no plot. It was really disappointing to read her death and see her survival tactics just go to waste while Peeta whose only means of surviving are camouflage and mooching off of Katniss.

I read the hunger games a few years ago and loved them. They were really interesting and exciting books. My only concern is that the movies won't be like the books and the characters won't look like what I pictured when I was reading. Overall, very good books!

From what I saw in the trailer for the movie, the traits will be very similar. I haven't read the books for a long time, but someone on YouTube commented how Effie's (I think she was the one who announced who would participate in the games) voice went up at the end of every sentence, like she was asking a question in the book, and she also did it in the trailer. So it seems they're paying attention to details. Anyway, I loved the series and I cannot wait for the movie to come out!
