Welcome to the dream suite. 50% of the time, you'll get a bad town. 40% of the time, you'll get a good town!
And in this case, we got one of the hacked towns in the 10% region.

This town was simply called, "Prgatory"
Let's begin.

HNI_0100.jpg

First, we have about 100 stacks of 99k bells. seems legit

HNI_0001.jpg

Next, we have tons of blue roses. Only roses, I guess he doesn't like blue pansies.

HNI_0002.jpg

I'm not really sure how this is possible. Somehow, he managed to get a Jacob's ladder as a furniture item.

HNI_0003.jpg

Next, we can see the everyday entire fossil collection, y'know, just sitting around outside.

HNI_0004.jpg

We also have these rocks which amazingly, line up in a straight line!

HNI_0005.jpg

Here, this guy keeps all of his wigs.

HNI_0006.jpg

This is his wetsuit collection.

HNI_0007.jpg

And, this is his golden tool collection!

HNI_0008.jpg

He also has every single RV set and Sanrio set! Wow! Such a dedicated player!

HNI_0009.jpg

He also left some ice cream for us to eat.

HNI_0010.jpg

Here is his black rose collection. Just ignore the tulips.

HNI_0011.jpg

Welcome to Prgatory, of where you can have half of your house submerged in the ground!

HNI_0012.jpg

I'm just playing some hide and seek, don't worry.

HNI_0015.jpg

Hmm.. It doesn't really seem like it took him very long to get all of this.

HNI_0016.jpg

Oh by the way, here's just every single furniture set on the ground, just in case you were looking for it.

HNI_0017.jpg

"gold is my favorite color"

HNI_0018.jpg

He also has two pieces of everything... birthday? I'm not really sure what to put.

HNI_0019.jpg

(visit the town yourself!)
Wait, since when was it 2019? Did I oversleep through 2018?
  • There are no trees at all, but there are bamboo shoots next to the Zelda RVs.
  • None of the villagers were outside. This might have been because they would've glitched out because of the collision with their houses.
  • There are no public works projects. (except for the bridges)
  • He had no streetpass items, not even the legendary tweeter.
  • He had to time travel but forgot to reset it later, so it's just stuck at 2019. Who even know's how long it's been since he uploaded this.
  • The river perfectly fits in line with how the building are.

Sorry, but that's just hideous.

Mainly loads of items on the ground. :-/
There's nothing clever, or aesthetically pleasing in those images.

It wasn't supposed to be pleasing. I just thought it was funny how there are no signs of a town and just completely items everywhere.

It probably a giveaway town. When I had my giveaway town, it had every item in the game available on the ground, plus fossils, flowers bags, clothes, etc. Instead of having people ask me where to find stuff, I just told them to visit my dreamtown, locate what they were looking for, then visit and pick it up in the real game. It worked well, and it kept everyone from asking me a ton of questions.

this town would be great if you can catalogue items in dream towns lol but you can't so that's a shame

To be fair, I think we can all agree that tone isn't the easiest thing to read on the internet. I didn't see it as being particularly sarcastic, but that's just me.

The captions for the pics are great lmao it makes the town seem better than it is xD
You guys are taking this too seriously :3c lighten up y'all

Me not being a nasty person, I don't assume that every post or thread is a sarcastic one. O_o

It was clearly the OP's intentions, but yes I agree. Although it is a lot like reading and word choice to the meaning behind the author's words. Back on subject: You can't express emotions easily on the internet, so not everyone will understand.

I like to think there are genuine, decent people out there, who are looking for an honest opinion, which is all I am capable of giving. ^_^

Counter-sarcasm.

I think all of us should aspire to build a town as beautiful as Prgatory.

I would like to, but I'm not sure if it would turn out any good. The creator of Prgatory is clearly much more talented, and any attempt to reproduce it would just be an insult to the original work. Comparing Prgatory to any of our towns is tantamount to comparing an original Picasso to a preschooler's scribbles.

Agreed. Prgatory's creator put countless hours, days, months, maybe even years to make a town so... so perfect. I'm overwhelmed just thinking about trying to recreate something like that.

Well, you have to start small. The Sistine Chapel wasn't painted in a single afternoon. It was painstakingly crafted by multiple artists, all who put their heart and soul into their work. In order to make a town as beautiful as Prgatory, you must sacrifice your life, it must become your life, you must spend your entire waking moment truly dedicated to its creation. Most people simply do not have that kind of power inside them.
