I hate intellectual books, they're so friggin boring.
In May, I've already read New Moon.
Twilight is about this teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire.Bulerias said:Since we're on the topic of reading, here's what I'm tackling right now:
Mara and Dann by Doris Lessing
Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
(re-reading) The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Edit - I also want to read Twilight... heard it was a good book.
Sounds like every girl in my grade. I keep hearing, , "Guys should read it, it gives great dating advice." I'm just like What the *CEN-3.0-SORD*. Its a *CEN-3.0-SORD*ing vampire, and werewolf, I hear in the 2nd book.UltraByte said:"I LUV VAMPIRES OLOLOLOLOLOL 8D"

Who would want to read a 200 page book in a few hours? When you do that you are making it a chore. I take my time reading a book because I want to savor every bit of it.Bulerias said:I can read a 200 page book in a few hours... you must have a lot of books if you don't have time for one more.K-Dog said:Because I have too many books to read for the rest of this year. Why not read it this year?
Making it a chore...? Sorry, I'm just a fast reader. I honestly prefer speed reading... or rather, what I call "diagonal reading"... I read so fast it seems like I'm going from the top left to the bottom right of a page.Propaganda Man said:Who would want to read a 200 page book in a few hours? Of course, certain books I want to savor, and sometimes I stop for a minute to take in the plot, like in mystery novels.
Hehehe, oh man... I read the last 100 pages of that book in 15 minutes. XDonly_half_evil333 said:The only book I have ever sped read is The Deathly Hollows. I hated Call of the Wild with a passion. Worst book ever. imo.TheGremp said:I'm a fast reader if I'm actually interested in a book, but that almost never happens, because books in general bore me. The only book that I actually got sucked into was Call of the Wild.
That happenes to me alot. I cannot watch tv and read at the same time, unless the volumes really low.Mino said:I'm a fast reader, but I run into problems when my mind thinks about something else but my eyes keep on reading the words.
