I'm a fast reader, but I run into problems when my mind thinks about something else but my eyes keep on reading the words. I end up halfway through a page and can't remember a word I just read.
Hahaha, same. XD

That happens to me all the time... I get really pissed when I have to read the same page over and over to fully understand it. D;

I had to do that a lot while reading Call of the Wild. I just kept getting sidetracked.

I'm a fast reader if I'm actually interested in a book, but that almost never happens, because books in general bore me. The only book that I actually got sucked into was Call of the Wild.
I hated Call of the Wild with a passion. Worst book ever. imo.
Really? I read it constantly to the end, which I've never done with a book I wasn't forced to read for school, except for Call of the Wild of course.

I loved how he gave the dogs complex personalities, solely by action. I wouldn't have gone near the book if they friggin talked. xD

Next I want to read White Fang, should be the same kind of style.

That was the only aspect of the book that I had actually liked. White fang is better.

Hes a great author, its just the type of stuff he writes about just doesn't catch my eye.

I'm not reading anything right now, but I did just finish To Kill a Mockingbird for school. It's only short, around 270 pages, but it's a classic.

Yeah, speed-reading is the only kind of reading for me. @JJH: Yeah, that was my goal, too. XD Read about 100 pages/50 min, when I finished I was sad because it was over that fast.

I couldn't stand To Kill A Mockingbird. Definately not my type of book. Though, yeah, It's certainly a classic.

My favorite book as of now; Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. Simply amazing book, right there.

To Kill a Mockingbird is a great book. Definitely one of my all time favorites. I don't remember it being short, but when I read it I was in 5th grade, so lack of memory...

To Kill a Mocking Bird was a boring book as well. I found it very predictable. My favorite book of all time is being made into a T.V. series for ABC which is also being directed by the director of Spirderman. Wizard's First Rule. Check it out, you will not be let down.

I think it's written by Lois Lowry. But anyway, I have to read it next year.
Why do you have to read it next year?
Why not read it this year?
Because I have too many books to read for the rest of this year. I probably wouldn't have time for it this year.
I can read a 200 page book in a few hours... you must have a lot of books if you don't have time for one more.
Yes, I do. I'm starting to get bored easily whenever I read, so it takes longer for me to read stuff. But I can read really quickly when I want to.
