so, if you've ever seen me post anything ever, you probably know that i've filled my town with bear cubs. however, i only have 9 out of 12 cubs and i plan to keep it that way. the 10th spot is reserved for other villagers to come take little vacations. they're not permanent villagers, but they're not gonna be cycled out immediately either. they're just going to take their time to enjoy aoki. maybe they'll even change something in the town forever!
my first vacationer (is that a word??? spellcheck won't tell me) is pierce the eagle! i got him via streetpass, from someone at school. (i've been carrying my 3ds in my backpack for the purpose of streetpass) he actually plotted in a pretty bad spot, smack dab in the middle of the path to the cafe. but honestly, i'm not too angry. i don't go to the cafe that much anyway, and that's really the only thing the path is used for. besides, if i ever decide i want to i can easily shift the path so it goes around pierce's house.
i guess i didn't play animal crossing yesterday because pierce's move-in caught me completely by surprise. well, not completely, because i knew it was bound to happen with me suddenly frequently streetpassing people, but i never knew the plot was even there. even though it's on a path i don't use, i should have noticed it because it's by the cosmo field where pudge's, poncho's and cheri's houses are. but i'm still glad he's here! i can't wait to see how he gets along with my bear cubs and if he'll enjoy his stay in aoki!
(and before anyone says anything, yes, i know it's hard to get the most recent moved-in villager to move out. but that's okay. pierce can stay as long as he wants to)
