The firefly model is very meh... :(

So I saw a post here a few days ago where someone was quoting a reddit post that insinuated how neat the firefly model looks.
Sorry to say but that's not the case. The model does emit a tiny bit of light but it's almost unnoticeable.
At first I thought that perhaps I needed to interact with it to make it "light up" but that's not possible either... it acts just like any other model.

Initially, when I saw the post I got super excited and had plans to commission a whole school of fireflies to spread them around my forest... now, I wish I had gotten one of my moths or butterflies commissioned instead since I don't TT and it'll take me weeks before I see Flick again.
Oh well...

Well, I like some of the butterflies and the smaller fish models. My favorite models are the snail and the goldfish varieties.
I just think the firefly had a lot of opportunity - even the critter itself could have been displayed in a neat jar.

The thing is I'd hardly call it "lighting up".
I had to take a photo of it and zoom in a lot to actually notice the tiniest of lights.
So that post was kind of deceiving.

I would not have gone with the fire fly until much later as I want all the butterflies and the bee first. I read the thread the other day on the how it lights up and convinced myself to go with that instead. The picture seemed to make it really look lit up but in my game it is barely noticeable. Had I not been specifically looking for the light I may have never noticed...lol

I think the picture must have been manipulated in some way because it definitely looks nothing like it.
Just a longish darkish bug that might as well be an ant.

I'm pretty disappointed with the insect and fish models in this game. I also dislike the stands. Could've made it transparent. Also wish they animate when interacted with.
