To each his own. I achieved my dream village a while ago. Then it got stale for me. Now i let everyone come and go, and its been fun! My goal was to meet all 333 viillagers, and i think i am half way there. Now, if you are into landscaping, then this is hard to do, but i am not, so its been possible.

I do like the idea of not trying so hard to get certain villagers. I have dreamies that I want to obtain, but that's what my campsite is for. I don't, however, believe in wasting so many bells on a villager. If I want a villager that's apparently that valuable, they'd better come with lots of Gracie furniture for me to mooch off of them.

I'd accept more random move ins if there weren't so many villagers I DIDN'T want in my town.

I prefer having villagers I like, but I admit dreamie hunting can get pretty stale. I searched for almost a year for one villager, with very high expectations, and now I'm disappointed because I don't absolutely adore them lol. But they're still staying. I feel like I did everything too quickly in NL in general.

I am just gonna let villagers move in, the ones I like more I will keep for longer, but I am not looking for specific one

I honestly had dreamies without them being called that before this forum I wanted Bluebear Stitches Goldie and Ruby the rest I grew to love because they popped up in my town but I agree I had no idea about paths and all that until here I try not to let it ruin my game cuz it should be fun not stressful

I feel the same way now that I've read it.. I'm not sure if you can reset villagers in ACWW but when I had that game years ago, I really got all the ugly villagers and I can't believe I actually played with them. I didn't have thoughts about resetting and making them move, but I just went along and played with it. And EVERYTIME someone moves, I get upset xD I'll write tons of letters to them, hoping they'll come back (I googled what to do to get them back). I kinda miss it. But right now, those 'ugly' villagers are someone else's dreamies, so why not letting them go to someone who would be a million times happier to have them? I guess I'll probably get bored soon after completing all my dreamies but yeah. I plan to take my time cycling 16 out now
