Hi guys, I know this has been probably been asked loads of times but how on earth do you breed flowers to make blue roses? I'm very confused! haha... ^-^ :p

Thank you!
OBug! ^^

wow it is hard...

You put a orange and purple roses together and breed them until you find a red rose next to them (it has to be this certain red rose or it won't work)

repeat until you have 2 "hybrid" red roses

breed them together and there you have a blue rose! but they are hard to get and it takes a while ~

(tip: when these "hybrid" roses are put together sometimes they will give you another red roses, this is just a regular roses so it won't work so just get rid of it)

Hope that helped ~ :)

also its worth noting that hyprid red roses and normal red roses are impossible to tell apart on their own

you have to keep track of it yourself

I feel your pain; I eventually gave up and ordered two blue roses from one of the shops here. Now I have like thirty of 'em.

I bought mine too. I couldn't be bothered. XD

I did all of my breeding on the beach, to prevent villagers from planting red normal roses among my breeding grounds of purplexorange roses.

remember to use fertilizer and jacob ladders to raise the probability of them breeding, and only water those breeding flowers! (only if you have the beautiful ordinance, ofc) the blue ones should pop up after a while.
They were the last hybrids I got, I was so determined to get all hybrids by myself that one time I gave away francine, the guy who adopted her left two blue roses as a way to thank me and I made him take them back bc I wanted to get them all on my own! He was super confused, lol

I tried to breed them on my own but it took too long, so I just bought a few to start off with lol

I think this is stupid in my opinion. They should give you a way to tell hybrid reds from regular reds.

Thank you everyone for replying! Your answers were really helpful! ^-^

Just wanted to say, blue roses, though hard to breed initially, are actually very quick to reproduce.

When you have a breeding pair of blues, a beautiful town, and daily watering of only that pair, you can expect one or two new blue roses every day!

So, if you love the color, the initial hard work is worth it; get a pair and you'll soon end up with more blue roses than you know what to do with.
