Actually the Bible is quite descriptive down to the T.

God himself is a perfectionist. I don't think the Bible wouldn't give an accurate description of Genesis, but tell Noah what wood to use for the Ark, and tell the Israelites exactly how to make the tabernacle.

This is EXACTLY my point of view on the bible, it is a collection of stories/teachings yet people take it as literally as possible and think that because evolution isn't in the bible it's not true. Yet, there is TONS of evidence that you cannot ignore about evolution.

I personally think the egg. Some bird laid an egg (an ancestor of the chicken) and while the chick was developing in the egg a gene mutation occurred and when the bird hatched it was come to be classified as the chicken.

Yes I will give you that it is a theory. Yet people think of theory as something different than what it is referred to in science. The term theory in the realm of science actually means that it is generally accepted as true by most scientists/people because of the heaps of evidence and research that proves it to be true.

Hehe I studied for my A.P. Enivornmental Science midterm last night so that's the only reason why I still remember that. ^_^
