Award or not happy birthday! Every time it's someone's birthday I remember a cartoon I watched growing up Garfiield and Friends and he had this annoying a Binky the clown recurring character hired to give him a birthday suprise and kept hiding but he kept sneaking in to sing..."Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Whoop do do, Whoop Di Do, Hope your day is pleasant, open up a present just for you, just for you."
That aside if you have a specialty item I may have or a wish list let me know just as a free gesture. But for contest I don't draw sadly but...I do write, so not sure you age but I will do something short.
On this special day take some time to reflect,
For as we grow older we sometimes neglect;
To enjoy what's around us, the wind, trees, and dew,
And this day I am great full for a world that has you.
There is no one else like you, there never could be,
So I make a special wish unto you just from me.
That with each passing day as time does unwind,
You love with abandon, never looking behind.
Seize every second take risks no regret,
treasure each moment, never forget.
Be yourself always, you don't fit the mould, always be bold,
follow that lesson and watch beauty unfold.
For you don't see it now but who you are and will be,
Will touch all you contact through life's destiny.
Today your remembered for all you are and have done,
But darling remember you've only begun.
May the kindness of your heart come back threefold,
And by the end of the journey you'll have created too much love to hold.
This is your day to enjoy all that comes, enjoy, dance and play,
But remember your special no matter what day!
Now go out there and walk tall knowing that life has a special plan for you, enjoy the ride and don't sweat the small stuff my friend.
