Okay fellow TBTers have I got quite a story.
Around 6 o'clock today the fire alarm went off in my dorm and we could smell something burning as we left the building. After not too long we were let back into the building where I learned that one of the people on my floor of whom I know well and am fairly friendly towards burnt her garlic bread in the community kitchen. Curious, I went in there and saw the bread sitting above the oven, charred beyond recognition.
Now, not many people know this about me, but I LOVE burnt bread. Like totally black and all. I dont eat it ever though, cause it would (as it did) set the fire alarm off and make the entire building smell. So I'm sitting here, looking at this bread, and I'm all:
"Nobodys gonna want this. It'll probably go in the trash."
So I look left, look right, then grab one of the halves and make my way towards my room. Only one problem: There's a community room on the way to my dorm and one of the other people that I am fairly friendly with on the floor sees me walking off with this giant piece of charcoal.
He stops me, laughing at my antics and asks if I talked to the original bread owner about it. I tell him my justification, and he calls the girl (which tbh I would've done if I had her #). He then asks her if I can have the bread and after what seems like some commotion on the other end, she says yes.
So now I wanna hear what you guys think.
Was it bad for me to have taken the bread?
Do you think the girl will be mad at me now?
By the way, the bread is delicious.
