Day 6

Nook's Cranny is getting expensive to buy gifts from, so Buck had a great idea to host 'Buck's Building Band'! He asked the villagers of Vanilla if they would be interested in making Christmas gifts instead of giving money to Scrooge Nook! Roscoe and Kidd were the first residents to join the crafting workshop!

Day 7

It was cold outside on Vanilla so Buck decided to create a summer beach scene to try and take our minds off the cold frosty weather! Kidd was next in line to sunbathe!

Day 8

Buck decided to spread some festive cheer to Vanilla. He asked Roscoe, Kidd and I if we would join him on stage to form The Wonder Bucks! The residents of Vanilla were excited and everyone had a great time!

The residents of Vanilla were at the Vanilla Reading Room. Buck was making everyone laugh, especially me! Lionel the Librarian wasn't happy and told us if we didn't stop laughing we would need to leave!

Day 10

Buck and I opened a pop up cafe so the residents of Vanilla had somewhere warm to meet up with their friends.

Roscoe couldn't decide what to order when Buck told him what was on the menu!

Kidd was waiting on his order being made, while Lobo, Al, Stitches and Lionel enjoyed Buck's fine cuisine.

Boomer didn't have any luck playing darts, but Julian was lucky and got the toy he wanted!

Day 11

The residents of Vanilla have been extremely busy getting all set for the holiday season, so Buck thought it would be a good idea to bring the community together for a disco!

Buck and I enjoyed cutting some moves on the dancefloor!

Al couldn't keep up with the pace and had a little rest! DJ Lionel had Christmas tunes playing. Buck even requested my favourite Christmas song, 'Step into Christmas' by Sir Elton John!

It was Christmas Jumper Day on Vanilla today!

Buck suggested camping outside, but also said it might be a little cold outside. He didn't let that deter him, and he set up a camping area indoors so we could stay cosy but also enjoy camping in December!

Buck and I had a lovely night and I even got to keep the personalised Buck Futon!

Buck wanted to complete his First Aid course so he was looking for a willing volunteer to practise on. Naturally, I happily obliged!

Buck, Kidd and I had a game of basketball with Roscoe, Al and Lionel. Naturally, our team won as we had the ultimate basketball guru, Buck on our team!

Day 17

Buck and Lionel were playing chess as Kidd, Roscoe and I watched on. Al was playing a video game in the background. The sound effects from the game didn't put Buck off and he still won the chess game!

I celebrated with Buck as he was crowned the winner. Lionel was sad to be the runner up. Buck didn't gloat and told Lionel that he would love a rematch someday when his arm muscles had recovered!

I love Buck, he's so cute! He was my starter jock on my first island back in August 2020. I hope that I can find him for my current new island one day.

Buck was in the mood for a barbecue but it was too cold outside on Vanilla, so he came up with an idea to have an indoor Teddy Bears Barbecue picnic!

We had a lovely night, and no-one else was invited!

Day 19

Stitches told Buck and I that he had an unusual request. Buck and I listened to discover that Stitches loves Toy Day, but his ultimate wish was to meet Zipper T. Bunny! Buck and I explained it might be difficult as this is Jingle's season and Zipper won't appear until April next year. Stitches walked off and was visibly upset. Buck turned to me and said: 'We need to make this right and make Stitches's wish come true'. Buck took out his Nook phone and started scrolling speedily through his contacts as he had to scroll all the way down to Z. This wasn't a problem since Buck's muscles are the best in Vanilla, possibly the world!

The next day, we went to Stitches house and told him we had a surprise for him. He was naturally curious went Buck insisted wearing a blindfold until we reached our destination.

Buck said: 'Are you ready Stitches to meet a VIB?' Stitches replied: 'What's a VI...?' Stitches stopped talking in disbelief, Buck added: 'VIB means a Very Important Bunny! Meet Zipper!'

Stitches couldn't believe his eyes, and squealed with delight: 'It's Zipper! My hero!' Zipper was so happy to make Stitches wish come true. 'All the credit goes to Buck, if you're going to call anyone your hero, it should be Buck as he arranged it all.' Zipper added. Stitches turned to Buck and said: 'Buck, thank you for this surpise! I have two joint heroes, you and Zipper!' Buck beamed with pride.

Day 20

Buck and I have been waiting on some mail, so we went down to the post office to see Pelly. She said they were very busy and some of the mail has been delayed. We told her we didn't mind waiting, that we came to the post office to collect it to help Pete as it's a very busy time of year. Pelly thanked us, and just as we were about to leave Pete came in!

Pete exclaimed: 'Buck, Jenny! I'll be at your house later I've got some mail in this bag for you!' Buck offered to take the mail to save Pete a trip. Pete was full of thanks. Seeing as it's a busy time for Pete we offered him help to deliver the excess mail. He was delighted and quickly accepted out help. Pete and Pelly were glad to have the backlog of mail cleared. They even offered Buck a job as he can lift 4 mail bags with his super muscles!

Day 21

Buck and I invited some friends over from Hazzard and Sapphire to join us at Vanilla's indoor ice skating rink! It was lovely to see our old friends Vesta, Wolfgang, Elmer and Tipper! It was a very special moment for Vanilla as our very own leader Tom Nook took time out of his busy schedule to take part in the fun!

Last night Buck and I watched the sunset on the evening of the Winter Solstice at Stonehenge. It was cold, but Buck made us some hot chocolate with a campfire.
