The Bones appreciation thread!

Bones is a very underrated villager in animal crossing. His design is definitely one of the better ones and his catchphrase is amazing! He's one of my favorites and I'm sure many others too. He deserves more love! I found him on a mystery island and didn't like him at first, but now he is one of my favorites! He was also the first to give me a photo.

I had an all dog town in NL and I definitely miss him and the others. Walker has been my long time favourite but I have Biskit and Bea on my island now. Bea is probably one of my favourite villagers now

I have Bones in my New Leaf town (and so does my profile picture)! He's so cute and I always think of him as a beagle. His catchphrase "yip yip" gets me every time and it could further imply he is a puppy. I have Deirdre in my New Leaf town as well so I think of them both as siblings, despite the different animal species. Perhaps one day, I could see him again in New Horizons, even if it only lasted for a little while.

Until recently I had never had Bones or even seen him in game. Then I saw a video of him on Twitter and instantly fell in love with him. I have no idea why I never noticed him before... he was completely under my radar.

After seeing him once I immediately knew I had to have him. Even though I have hundreds of amiibo cards, of course I don't have his (figures). So I used the campsite method in my cycling island and it took me nearly a week to get him. Then I had to wait another couple of weeks to get an open plot on my main island since I don't TT there.

It took a little work, but it was 100% worth it. I love the little guy with all my heart.

I had him in New Leaf, he's a really nice villager to have. I'm very surprised he's not higher on the tier list, but popularity for villagers is and has always been pretty wack.

Bones is in my partner's town and he is very cute! I love the little Patagonia-esque fleece pullover he wears.

I love Bones so much! He was my childhood best friend. I would write about him all the time in the journals we had back in the GC game. I went back and read about our antics recently, he really meant a lot to 7 year old me. No doubt I had a crush, his free spirit views were really admirable haha.

I have him on my island as well, love how he seemed to grow along with me. Use to have a kiddie like room, but now he’s living in a library. He’s the best dog and one of the best villagers to me.

I love Bones so much he was my first lazy in this game and I don’t think I can ever let him go but he has the starter house and I’m tempted to send him out to get his real house back :/

He was also in my New Leaf town! I am trying not to duplicate villagers in New Horizons, but it would be very hard to pass on him if I saw him on an island, so thankfully I haven't yet!

I had Bones back on GameCube version. I dont remember him being mean to me back then so he was my favorite. To this day he is my favorite dog tied with Goldie.I love how his model updated with the pink fade around his mouth looking more natural.
