The Best Swamp

If you were to make a swamp... really swampy mucky island lol... What do you think are the best villagers to inhabit it?
If you have a swamp island feel free to talk about it here and share a couple of pics.
A swamp island seems like a fun thing to do. especially if you like frogs!!

I would put Hippeux since his design reminds me of Shrek since I know he always cares about his swamp.

Villagers
- Any frog villager with a special emphasis on the ones that resemble toads like Wart Jr.
- Any alligator villager (excluding Gayle because that of that pink)
- Piper sort of reminds me of egrets

Decorations
- Lots of weeds, weeds everywhere
- Firefly models
- Log benches and log stools
- Snapping turtles

I agree with frogs and alligators like some people have mentioned but I also believe Murphy the cranky would also be a great fit

the first villager to come to mind was drago and honestly, i think he’d be a nice fit!

ooo that is a good choice. I wouldn't have ever thought about a pig. He really would look good in the swamp.

I’d do one of the hippos along with the aforementioned crocodiles + frogs. A duck or one of the ostriches would be good too. More specifically Blanche and either Deena or Quillson.
Also seconding Cobb! He’d fit into a swamp well.

Alligator and frog are of course the obvious choices, but other wildlife you might find in a swamp or wetlands would include a duck or bird (or Blanche as a heron, like previously mentioned - Gladys works too), rodents like a squirrel or mouse, and yeah, a pig (Boris and Rasher sure give off a wild boar vibe) or hippo work too. Maybe round it out with a deer, rabbit, and/or bear. It's a shame we don't have more reptilian or amphibian villagers.

yeah.. I wish there weren't so many jocks in the frogs and alligators lol. A swamp island has been an idea I have entertained in my head now and then. I feel like it may be a fun and colorful way to approach animal crossing.

I don't know if any of you have lived near a swamp but there are a lot of birds... the tall kind that stand in the water. Blanche kind of looks like some of those birds or Cranston?
