The Best Smug Boy?

I’m stuck in a bit of a rut and I need opinions! I’m remaking my list of dreamies, and I wanted to add in a smug boy because I want some extra variety in my town. Who is/are your favorite smug boy(s), and why? I wasn’t really a fan of Marshal when I first started playing AC:NL, and even when I first joined The Bell Tree... but now I can’t help but love him.

I don’t want to make a “clich?” town that has all the same villagers as every other town out there, BUT I can’t help how much I suddenly love the little marshmallow squirrel that is Marshal.
I have a few other smug boys in my heart as well, so I wanted to reach out and ask everybody who their favorite smug boy is The poll IS multiple choice, so feel free to vote for as many villagers as you’d like to!

I just wanted to thank everybody for their input. I enjoy the look of Marshal, but actually thinking on it, I don’t think I like him as much as I thought I did. I’ve interacted now with quite a few smug boys, and I have a tpugh decision to make currently between Ken and Shep. However, still feel free to leave your opinions, because I love reading them!

Marshal is so precious, I wasn’t a fan of him for awhile but now I’m really starting to come around to the idea of having him in my town. Julian is also super cute, I love his style. I just don’t have the best experiences with horse villagers sadly. But I mean... blue horse. His design is very much tempting me to give him a try.

One of my friends who plays animal crossing has Shep and I love him. He’s one of the smug boys who also has my heart. Cutest shaggy boy, 12/10 do recommend

O’Hare is a handsome boy, his hair tuft and lil hat are so cute. He’s definitely a villager I’m warming up to, too.

awright marshal is my favorite for many reasons so i'll touch on my other favorites. (marshmallow baby!)
colton, he's the sweetest villager imo (looks wise) .. he's prince charming! so precious and underappreciated.
shep looks like a sad boy which is funnily cute... he looks like he would just sit on tree stumps and play guitar.
kyle is a fan favorite but you can definitely see why as he's one of the many bad boys.
as for "underappreciated" smugs i would go with are chops and jacques. i actually bought jacques card the other day as his design is SO nice and i've got a lot of love for him <3 chops is super cool looking as well and his name pun is kinda funny to me.

if you're looking for an "overrated" villager my choice is marshal colton, "underrated" jaques definitely.

Colton looks like a little prince, imo. I might just give him a try. I love Hans because he looks like an abominable snowman, honestly, or an Ice Troll from Skyrim (you might not be familiar with skyrim, or play it, but I love how Hans looks like an icy snow ape). Graham is cute and goofy, I probably wouldn’t get him in my town but he’s definitely adorable. If I found a town with him in it and had the chance to interact with him I may want him in my town at some point.

Marshal is so precious, like a tiny little grumpy marshmallow. I have so many reasons why I want him, he’s so precious. He’s definitely one of the “overrated” characters, though I personally don’t find him overrated. I love Kyle and Shep, too. Shep is in one of my friend’s towns and I love interacting with him anytime I play with him Kyle is definitely one of the bad boys, and he’s very appealing, him and Marshal especially have my heart, I wish you could have at least 15 villagers in your town. But that’d definitely get hard to maintain lol

Tex! I kinda like the idea of smugs having a bit of a rock and roll exterior while being absolute sweeties on the inside. Both Tex and
Kyle fit that bill so well, but I just have such a softy spot for Tex. He's just so cute and round and I love him.

Eugene and O'Hare are my absolute favorite smug villagers AND favorite villagers in general. Eugene is just the perfect greaser type cool guy and I've always loved his aesthetic and vibe, I've had him in my town Pawnd for YEARS and he's stayed close to my heart. I haven't had O'Hare in any of my towns yet but he seems pretty laid back, and he's cute too.
