Eh, I'm very picky person. So I don't think there's a lot of good 3DS games that I can think of. Bravely Default, Harvest Moon: A New Beginning, Story of Seasons, Pokemon X/Y, Pokemon ΩR/αS, and Fire Emblem: Awakening weren't my cup of tea even if they are praised by critics.
Super Smash Bros 4 would definitely be on that kind of list. The game is so fun, with the wide variety of characters you can choose from and DLC that keeps on making the game fresh.
The Animal Crossing games on 3DS (New Leaf and Happy Home Designer) are distinct to one another, but both are great games. If you plan on playing a game that takes a long time and you have nothing much to do in your life, New Leaf is perfect for that. But if you want to play something quick, but enjoyable, and you want a simulation game with great customization or you're simply a sucker for interior design? Play Happy Home Designer.
The Legend of Zelda games are worth checking out! Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora's Mask 3D, and A Link Between Worlds. The three are different but they're old Zelda games re-imagined for 3DS. The graphics are so stunning.
I've played Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 7 with a friend. They were amazing games.
Fantasy Life is also good. There's so much things to do in the game, the visuals and music are fantastic.
To sum up, the best 3DS games in my opinion are:
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
- Super Smash Bros 4
- Super Mario 3D World
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
- Mario Kart 7
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer
- Fantasy Life
Also Yo-Kai Watch and Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley are worth checking out if you don't give a damn about character relationships and graphics, and you wanted a game suitable for all ages and you want some different gameplay from their genres. I liked those games even if a lot of people don't like them.
