Instead of having made a chunky post which is generally a compilation of all the available resources here at The Bell Tree, you could have just linked to all those other things. A majority of your post now is just a Copy & Paste based post which no one really would be interested in reading, let alone assigning a guide like this for the more 'newer' members of the site.
