Out of all of them, three are wearing the same shirt, and another two are wearing the same shirt and its so....idk but it's weird :3 Maybe if I send them shirts they'll change?

What you can do is hold shirts in your inventory, have the villagers come to you, and they may ask to buy them or trade. They may wear the clothing that way - if it is a long while since they changed it. I don't think mailing works.

Another idea: Load the clothes shop display area with some of of your own designs you'd like them to wear. After a while, the villagers out of nowhere will wear them - though you have no control over which ones.

I have the same problem, like 4 or 5 of them are wearing the same shirt, I mean I put a lot of patterns on display but no, they ALL had to choose the same one... I'll try walking around with t-shirts, this has to change, they're starting to look like a sect. x)

Glad I'm not the only one with this...They're not even wearing patterns, they're all wearing the same one blue to peach shirt and it's like they're a team or something xD

Send the clothing before 5pm (let's say, 4:30pm) then save and quit. Then wait or time travel to when it's over 5pm. Load the game then see if the villager is wearing the one you just sent. If not, don't save. Just exit to home menu. Load the game and check again. Do this until they change. Don't forget to save when they finally do. This is guaranteed to work.

They might display their previous clothing inside their house upon changing. Not if it is a custom design.

Mailing them shirts does work in my experience. Last week I sent Lucky a new shirt to replace that awful yellow canary one everyone started wearing and he was wearing it an hour later.

Just remember to check which colours/style they like and wrap it up nicely too.

You could put dresses up in the able sisters so they won't wear any of those designs.

I think you can make them change their clothes if you talk to Isabelle about problematic citizens.

I sent Pekoe and Annalisa two specific shirts yesterday and both of them are wearing them! It was a pain when every single villager started wearing the special pattern I made just for those two.
now, let's hope they don't somehow start copying them.
