My brain is in full power mode and it's got me thinking about ideas for ACNL...

What if you could pick a personalty for your character? Like 'snooty'! You would arrive to your new town in a limo and maybe your town would be customized so that you start off with 50k (and a villager with a snooty personalty whom will become your best friend and is more likely to send you notes, give you gifts, ask for errands, and want to hand out more).

Peppy: You get a flower head accessory & a cute outfit to start off with. You get discounts at stores for always being so nice, bees never sting you and instead they scatter and spread pollen all on the hybrids to act as fertilizer, villagers will bring up PWP's more often.

Normal: You are easy to be friends with and your town is all the rage, you get to have a 'vacation' with Isabelle and a villager of your choice to a private island & you get to play fun mini games & win prizes. When villagers ask you to buy items you will get a higher percent of getting the item for free.

Jock: All the ladies will talk to you more often and complement you, instead of taking 3 chops to take down a tree it takes you 2, You will be able to run even faster and you can have the ability to put on war paint.

It would be a challenge to balance all the personalitites so that one isn't better than others!
I agree it would be cool to be able to pick something so that your mayor can be more distinct from other mayors.

Exactly!

Also like maybe add some more clothing like sweaters.
Or you can like customize bottoms, socks, shoes, etc.
and you can dip dye your hair (Pink on black hair ect.)

What if you could marry your villagers and have weddings and celebrate anniversaries? Lol. I just want to see an animal crossing wedding and deliver letters for other villagers to help their relationship along~

I would also like to be able to open more businesses, like a restaurant or a bank in my town. Of course the town and amount of villagers should be more to compensate for more activity.

Irk! I would love to go to places for the honey moon like a snowy mountain side or a meadow with a cabin resort?

And there can be a mini-game where you can ice stake with your partner and you have to kit the right buttons or motions and if you don't you fall/slip. You can do snowball fights, hide and seek with the residents that live in the lodge (Hans!), etc. The lodge will have a lobby when you first walk in with a fireplace, and the gorgeous series, K.K. Jazz playing in the stereo. When you walk to your room you have the series that you want (You fill out a sheet saying how many days your stay and who your brings and what your dream room looks like.) and you get a little food dish waiting on the table with a note about reservations and activities on the Mountain!

That would be awesome! But it would be so hard to choose between the peppy and normal personalities. Not being stung by bees would be great, but then going on vacation with Isabelle...
