Im currently trying to TT Kabuki out of my cycle town out for a friend. But he won't ping!! I've been working on this for DAYS but he's being stubborn. Does this happen to anyone else? All of my other villagers pinged to move at LEAST 4 times each. Kabuki's the only one that hasn't pinged ONCE and its like he knows that I'm trying to get him to move. This has also happened before when I urgently need Skye to move out of my main town to trade for Whitney. All of my other villagers pinged, except for her for about 6 hours after trying to get her to. Does anybody know why this happens? Is there a way to fix this?! :(

Yes, this happens to alot of people, and used to happen to me alot! D:
it took OVER 2 weeks to get Drake out. :c but I didn't have the time to TT everyday so that's probably why it took so long D:
villagers with higher friend levels tend to ping more, if that helps. :3
And I think if you try befriending her and raising the friendship level, she will ping sooner or later.

To this day I have never had Lucha ping to move and I have had him since September and play everyday. My friend also has Erik and he never pings as well. I don't know whats up with this. Is Kabuki the newest villager to move to your town?

Ahh I guess this DOES happen to a lot of other people :( What made Drake eventually ping? Did you just keep trying?
Also, I think I'll try that! I talk to Pietro the most and he ALWAYS pings to move, maybe I should talk to Kabuki more too!

Wow, really? What's your friendship level with Lucha? And no, I've had Kabuki here for a while actually!

From experience (cycling out 26 specific villagers in less than a month),
I just talk to the villagers regularly, and do their requests.
I never ignore them unless it's to travel forward a bit more than 3 days.
Imo, I don't recommend ignoring the villager because they'll never ping you that way.

As dreamysnow said, try befriending him and talking to him often! That might work.
Hope all goes well for you <3

Very high actually, I know this because he gives me many of his pics.

How strong is your friendship to him?

Thanks for this! I've read somewhere that I should ignore them and just TT daily and someone would be in boxes, but that doesn't work when I'm trying to get someone specific. Do you talk to all of the villagers daily? Thanks again!

That's weird, maybe it has nothing to do with friendship level! My friendship is nonexistent with Kabuki, I talk to him from time to time to get rid of that barrier when they say "I haven't seen you for 1 week" but other than that, I never do anything for him and never got his picture!

Lolly just won't PING ARGHHH I have been trying to get her out to sell her,but she is WAY TOO STUBBORN.

Nope, I don't talk to all of the villagers daily o: That would honestly take too long.
Just the one's I want to move out and the snooty villagers - or a "net" villager to check up on rumors of who's moving. I recommend talking to them until they say that they need time to think, if they don't mention anyone moving then it's safe to TT a day forward or so.

But at some point I talk to the rest of the villagers once or twice just to check up on them. Villagers won't ping if you haven't talked to them for 4+ days, I believe. So make sure your talking to Kabuki often. ^^

If you have 10 villagers with you, atleast three for four will ask to move within a one month period.

I know that feel, man :'( Have all of your other villagers pinged?

Fauna hasn't pinged, which is a good sign and a bad sign. Fauna has been with me longer than Lolly,so the odds of lolly moving is low. Annalise just arriced,I hope she leaves. Only my Favorites Ping :c

If you're ignoring them, they'll never ping you. Talk to them at least every four days to receive a ping. Ignoring them will lead them to move out without pinging you, which is okay too, but this only works best if you haven't interacted with them at least twice since they moved in. Hitting them with nets and stuff means interaction, means the game will troll you and try to get that villager to stay.

If you've already talked to them at least twice, make a new character and play with that one for a(n in-game) week or so. Talk to everyone everyday except the one you want to move out, and they'll be out within a week.

If that doesn't work, keep befriending them with your mayor character. This is the method I use the most because it guarantees a move out. I make the villagers I don't want to stay as my bff, and they're almost always the first to ping to move. ; w; deserters!

Oh noooo Pietro's in boxes :c UGH dammit Kabuki.

Yes! I use the new character method for my main town cause I don't want to risk TTing there. I haven't tried befriending though, I'll definitely do that. Thanks for the advice! :-)

Oooh, that's a good idea! Yeah, I didn't want to waste time talking to each villager daily, since I only stay in 1 day for ~5 minutes. I'll definitely try that out. thanks!

Oh no >:

I've been trying to TT Fauna out for someone for ages now. I've tried ignoring, making friends, etc, but it doesn't seem to make a drastic difference.

Did you take in Kabuki from camp? I've read elsewhere that camp take-ins are much harder to get out than normal move ins, which I have found (thus far) to be true. All my non-camps seem to take major priority, and only my first camper has ever pinged (Rodeo) who I love too much haha 8'D....

I started befriending him, sending him letters, talking to him until he got annoyed :3 <3 and then I started TT-ing him out while befriending him and he pinged ! <3

I was trying to move Soleil out because I already had a snooty I loved (Baabara). It took me MONTHS of TTing until I finally gave up. I even let her stay and let go of Baabara instead... Soleil grew on me though and just when I started accepting her she asks to move!!! Ugh. I was really sad to see her go though. She was the only stubborn one though. I was trying to get Zell out for someone on this forum and he pinged multiple times. I had to keep him longer because the other person wasn't ready yet, but he still pinged quickly after that. Usually it works best for me if I'm super good friends with them. Ignoring doesn't work at all for me.

Btw, Killjoy your signature picture is so cute :o

If you ever end up trying out befriending them, the easiest way is to send them perfect fruit everyday. They'll be your best friend in no time. xD

I think that might be true about villager you ignore don't ping when you tt as often as ones you talk to. all my other villagers but bella pinged and I had been ignoring her because she was who I wanted to get out. Now I'm talking to her every day in hopes that she will ping. I NEED HER OUT!!!!

I got Pietro 2 months ago in my cycle, I tried getting him out for almost years by TTing. I tried ignoring, I tried getting people to talk to him. I didn't even get a profit from him when he left... *sigh*
