Today I was talking to Muffy, and within three conversations, she sold me TWO genuine paintings, the Flowery painting and Perfect painting. I feel so lucky right now. Have any of you ever been sold two paintings from one villager in a day?

Whenever my uchi villagers attempt to sell me a painting, it's always a forgery. Now I decline their offers, and every single time they realize that the painting in question is a forgery.

i always turn down my villager offers to sell me paintings; the uchi (Rocket) eventually gives it to me for free, in which case it's always been genuine... it's when i paid for them that there were issues...

Wow, I guess I really am lucky... I usually only buy paintings if the online guide I use says they are always real, but this time I didn't even check it until after I bought them.

I've had several villagers sell or give me paintings. About half the time they were genuine. I don't have those villagers anymore though. Mostly they would try to sell them to me in the evening.

i think you can tell they're selling you a real painting by selling it to you at a higher price. both times my villagers sold me a genuine painting, they said they were 'sure that it's real' and offered to sell it to me from 4k ~ 7k.

Flo attempted to sell me like 4 painting in a couple of hours. I only bought two of them because I already had the other two, and they turned out to be real, so I was quite happy. Whatever Flo sells me is always real, so I know I can safely tell her I accept and I won't regret it later.
